Research: Expanding Knowledge, Pioneering Solutions

Our 150 fellows and affiliated faculty conduct interdisciplinary environmental research that transcends the boundaries of the university’s seven schools to pioneer solutions. Woods fosters these collaborations by funding interdisciplinary research teams through our Environmental Venture Projects and Realizing Environmental Innovation programs as well as our research centers and programs. These initiatives focus on seven key focal areas: Climate, Ecosystem Services and Conservation, Food Security, Freshwater, Oceans, Public Health and Sustainable Development.
